He was born in Gümülcine in 1987. After completing his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, he studied medicine at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 2005 and 2011. In 2012, he began working as a Research Assistant at S.B. Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.
He became a Dermatology and Venereology Specialist in 2017 and during this period worked in the departments of Dermatological Surgery, Dermato-Cosmetology, Dermatological Allergy, Dermoscopy, Laser Applications in Dermatology, and Phototherapy. Dr Bachar Memet, who worked on “The evaluation of the effects of antihistamines and antidepressants on substance P levels in patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria” for his specialist thesis, was appointed as a Lecturer at Istanbul Science University between 2017 and 2018 and continued his education and training activities while accepting patients at Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals.
Between 2018 and 2021, he worked in the field of Medical and Aesthetic Dermatology at Koç University Hospital. Continuing his work in Aesthetic Dermatology between 2021 and 2024, Dr Bachar Memet has been seeing patients at his own clinic since January 2025 in the fields of General Dermatology, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Applications in Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery, Dermatological Allergy, and Dermoscopy. He keeps abreast of current developments through national and international training programmes and conferences.
