Op. Dr. Alper ŞİŞMANOĞLU was born in 1974 in Shumen, Bulgaria. He immigrated to Turkey from Bulgaria in 1989 and completed his pre-graduate education by graduating from Ankara Bahçelievler Experimental High School in 1992. In 1999, he completed his medical education at Hacettepe University English Faculty of Medicine and received the title of medical doctor. Between 1999 and 2004, he specialized in Marmara University Hospital, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and became a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist.
Between 2004 and 2007, he worked as a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist in the In Vitro Fertilization Unit of the Istanbul German Hospital and completed his Infertility and IVF certification training. He fulfilled his military service in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Erzincan Military Hospital between 2007 and 2008. In 2010, she worked as a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist at Istanbul German Hospital In Vitro Fertilization Unit for 5 months, working with Prof. Dr. Infertility, reproductive endocrinology and in vitro fertilization applications with Timur GÜRGAN and his team. He has worked on gynecological endoscopy and infertility surgery.
Op. has been continuing his studies on infertility, reproductive endocrinology and in vitro fertilization applications, gynecological endoscopy and infertility surgery at the In Vitro Fertilization Department of Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital since 2014. Dr. Alper ŞİŞMANOĞLU is married and has two children.
